The Small Forest Landowner Office is in the process of hiring another Landowner Assistance Forester to help provide professional expertise and technical assistance to Western Washington landowners. DNR provides onsite forest management consultation from foresters and fish and wildlife biologists, including information on improving forest health and reducing wildfire risk. During your visit you can learn if you qualify for programs to reduce taxes, access financial assistance, and how to get recognition for your stewardship. Assistance is also offered in developing and implementing a multi-resource Forest Stewardship Plan customized to your individual objectives.
We currently have Landowner Assistance foresters located across the state to assist small forest landowners. If you would like to request assistance from a forester in your area please click here.
