Forest Practice Application / Notification (FPA/N) Fees

This past legislative session, legislators found there were significant opportunities to modify programs that provide for management and protection of the state’s natural resources, including the state’s forests, fish, and wildlife. To streamline the regulatory process and achieve program efficiencies, the legislature approved Senate Bill 2ESSB 6406 which updates provisions relating to natural resource management and regulatory programs, including the hydraulic project approval program, forest practices act, and state environmental policy act. Senate Bill 2ESSB 6406 is now being implemented in DNR’s Forest Practices Division.
